The Killer, The Trooper, The Head (Ink) 3-9-16

In 2009, While I was working at Hastings, A Backroom stocker Named Larry asked if I do commissions? At the time I didn't but was curious of what he wanted me to draw? "Eddie from Iron Maiden can you do it? You can take as much time you need, Im not in a rush". I never backed out of a challenge so I excpped. I knew the mascot but I didn't know it was so many album covers, so I picked my favorite ones and combined them together for a original piece. Well Little bit like a month or 2 he left the Company and so as I After. I haven't seen him in a while so I put it up. Bout 2014 I bumped in to Larry again and I told him I still had the pic for him but by this time im a better artist so I came up with a better sketch. Once again he said take all the time you need. Cool Beans. Well The new drawings I didn't like so I put it in the "must do" pile. Now its 2016! Bumped into Larry Again, but this time I felt little bad not finishing the drawing. "Man, I Kinda Forgot bout that," I said. Larry Repllied "Don't Worry about it, Its only Been 7 Years, I told you to take your Time!" We Both Laugh, So I pulled out all the Sketches and Drawings and Finished it. And By Golly it came out WAY better than it was gonna be in 2007.

So Here's a tip! Don't tell an Artist to "Take Your Time" if you really don't mean it. But if you Do have the patience then its well worth the wait! Thanks Larry!
